Meet Poppy Woodward – Trainee Care Coordinator

9 Dec 2025 | News

Poppy Woodward began her journey with Shirecare as a dedicated Care Assistant, providing compassionate support to service users in their own homes. Her commitment, attention to detail, and genuine care for those she supports quickly stood out, paving the way for her next step.

Recognising her potential and drive, Poppy transitioned into the office to train as a Care Coordinator. In her trainee role, she is developing the skills to manage schedules, coordinate care teams, and ensure every service user receives the highest standard of personalised care.

Poppy’s progression reflects Shirecare’s commitment to supporting career development from frontline care roles into leadership and coordination positions, ensuring our teams are knowledgeable, motivated, and connected to the communities they serve.

When she’s not coordinating care, Poppy enjoys connecting with colleagues and exploring new ways to make a difference in people’s lives.
