Meet Jody – Staff Compliance Manager

23 Jul 2026 | News

We’re pleased to introduce Jody, Shirecare’s Staff Compliance Manager, who has been an integral part of the team since January 2024. Jody plays a key role in ensuring the highest standards are maintained across recruitment, training, and regulatory compliance, helping to support both our staff and the quality of care delivered to clients.

Jody was inspired to work in home care by the opportunity to make a difference behind the scenes. By supporting staff and maintaining robust compliance processes, she helps ensure that safe, high-quality, person-centred care is provided throughout the organisation.

One of the aspects Jody enjoys most about her role is supporting colleagues and seeing them develop professionally. She finds great satisfaction in maintaining appraisals, probation reviews, and supervisions, knowing that investing in staff development contributes directly to exceptional care. Continuously improving processes and helping to maintain a service that families can trust are among the most rewarding parts of her work.

Keeping pace with changing regulations and balancing compliance requirements alongside operational needs can be challenging, but Jody embraces these responsibilities and values the opportunity to contribute to the continued success of the service.

Jody believes that what sets Shirecare apart is its strong team culture and genuine commitment to both clients and staff. She values the organisation’s personal approach and the support provided to employees, which enables everyone to deliver the highest standards of care.

Outside of work, Jody enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, and taking time to relax and recharge. We are proud to have Jody as part of the Shirecare team and appreciate the dedication and expertise she brings to the organisation every day.
