Martin Burrows

Managing Director

Martin brings over eight years of experience in senior management roles, including five years working in the Middle East as a Health and Safety Engineer. He is also a highly experienced Care Coordinator, combining strong leadership with a deep understanding of person-centred care.

Martin holds the industry-leading NEBOSH qualification in Health and Safety and is committed to applying his expertise to ensure that all Shirecare clients receive the highest standard of care in a safe and secure environment.

Passionate about excellence, Martin is dedicated to running a professional homecare company that consistently puts clients first, ensuring dignity, safety, and quality of care in every situation.

Lisa Brockelsby

Operations Manager

Lisa brings over 28 years of experience within the care industry and joined Shirecare as Operations Manager. Her extensive knowledge and leadership experience play a key role in supporting high standards across the organisation.

Lisa is committed to sharing best practice throughout the team and is dedicated to ensuring that Shirecare remains a market leader in delivering high-quality, person-centred homecare.

Daniel Butler

Registered Manager

Daniel brings over 16 years of experience within the care industry, including many years in senior management roles. He holds multiple industry-leading qualifications and has particular expertise in dementia care, ensuring high standards of support for individuals with complex needs.

Daniel is passionate about building a homecare company staffed by highly trained professionals who consistently put clients first, delivering compassionate, respectful, and person-centred care at all times.

Jessica Davids

Registered Manager

Jess joined Shirecare in 2025 as Lead Quality Manager, bringing over 12 years of experience in health and social care. She is passionate about ensuring that every client receives truly person-centred care, enabling them to remain living independently in their own homes for as long as possible.

Known for her bubbly and approachable nature, Jess provides supportive guidance to both clients and staff and continues to be a valued and vital member of Shirecare’s senior leadership team.

Jody Searston

Staff Compliance Manager

Jody is Shirecare’s Staff Compliance Manager, bringing extensive experience in workforce compliance and a strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards across the organisation. She oversees recruitment checks, training compliance, and staff records, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met and that our team remains skilled, knowledgeable, and fully supported.

Dedicated to promoting a culture of excellence and accountability, Jody works closely with colleagues to ensure staff receive the guidance and resources they need to provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care. Her attention to detail and supportive approach make her an invaluable member of the Shirecare team.

Katie Lane

Care Coordinator Manager

Katie joined Shirecare in 2021 as a Care Support Worker. Recognising her dedication, professionalism, and strong work ethic, Shirecare promoted Katie in 2024 to the role of Lead Care Coordinator.

In her role, Katie oversees the growing team of Care Support Workers, supports our valued clients, and ensures the smooth day-to-day coordination of care, playing a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred homecare.

Melissa Kew

Compliance Manager

Melissa is Shirecare’s Compliance Manager and plays a key role in ensuring the service consistently meets regulatory and quality standards. With a strong understanding of compliance within homecare, she works closely with the team to maintain safe, effective, and high-quality care for all service users.

Melissa is dedicated to supporting best practice across the organisation, overseeing audits, policies, and regulatory requirements, and helping to ensure Shirecare delivers person-centred care in line with CQC standards.

Josh Green

Lead Quality & Training Manager

Josh is Shirecare’s Training and Care Compliance Manager, playing a key role in ensuring staff are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and support needed to deliver exceptional care. With a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement, Josh oversees training programmes, monitors compliance requirements, and works closely with the team to maintain the highest standards across the service.

Passionate about developing staff and promoting best practice, Josh is committed to ensuring Shirecare delivers safe, effective, and person-centred care in line with CQC standards. His proactive approach and dedication to excellence help create a culture of learning and quality that benefits both clients and colleagues alike.

Milli Burt

Trainee HR Manager

Milli is Shirecare’s Trainee HR Manager and brings valuable frontline experience, having progressed from working within the community into her current role. Her background in care gives her a strong understanding of the needs of both clients and staff, and she is passionate about supporting the wellbeing and development of the team.

Milli assists with recruitment, staff engagement, and the implementation of HR policies and procedures to help maintain a positive and supportive working environment. Dedicated to learning and professional growth, she is committed to ensuring that Shirecare continues to attract, develop, and retain a skilled and compassionate workforce.

Trainee Care Coordinator

Poppy began her journey with Shirecare as a dedicated Care Assistant. Her commitment, attention to detail, and genuine care for those she supports quickly stood out, paving the way for her next step.

 In her trainee role, she is developing the skills to manage schedules, coordinate care teams, and ensure every service user receives the highest standard of personalised care.
